Deaf Education
ESC-20 provides Regional leadership and support through professional development and technical assistance to programs serving students who are deaf or hard of hearing. ESC-20 helps local programs meet the unique needs of students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing across the continuum of placement options.
Our services include but are not limited to
- Consultation on program design and implementation
- Staff training on effective practices for students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Technical assistance for providing a continuum of services for student who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Consultation for Regional Day School Programs for the Deaf
