Formerly known as the Dual Language Conference, Education Service Center, Region 20 is proud to host a conference that unites teachers, administrators and community members to explore the successes of bilingual, English as a Second Language (ESL), Languages Other Than English (LOTE), Newcomers, Special Programs, Technology, and other educational services in order to meet the needs of all students learning a target language in our regional area.

Our main goal is to bring together educators, researchers, and practitioners supporting language learning throughout the state. This three-day conference will offer you the opportunity to share/receive experiences and knowledge, as well as a time to network, collaborate, and cultivate new learning to set a sight on going above and beyond our current teaching practices.

This conference will feature campus visits, a keynote speaker, performances by our area students, and breakout sessions that highlight critical topics relating to the implementation of effective programs and researched-based strategies that promote English acquisition, as well as biliteracy and biculturalism.
