A variety of coaching services and support are available for districts.
The Power of 2: Coaching Cooperative for Instructional Facilitators, Year 1
Instructional Facilitators/Coaches serve as non-evaluative, supportive, thinking partners who provide growth-focused feedback. Through this job-embedded collaboration teachers are able to reflect, plan, gain clarity and build or refine strong classroom practices that enhance student achievement. The coop features 26 hours of support.
Participants will increase their knowledge and skillset in the following:
  • Communication & collaboration
  • Building relationships & breaking resistance
  • Conducting observations & providing growth-focused feedback
  • Goal setting & accountability
Registration is through the Education Service Center, Region 20 commitment system. Tuition is $750 per person.
Coaching Cooperative Year 1 Information
The Power of 2: Coaching Cooperative for Instructional Facilitators, Year 2
Prerequisite: Participation in “The Power of 2: Coaching Cooperative for Instructional Facilitators, Year 1"
Participants will increase their knowledge and skillset in the following:
  • Focus purposeful goal setting which links growth to TTES
  • Expand effective uses of observation and feedback to foster growth
  • Reflectively explore progress to goals and create additional plans for generating buy-in and establishing accountability
  • Reflect and current success and determine a future course of action
Registration is through the Education Service Center, Region 20 commitment system. Tuition is $550 per person.
