WEBINAR: The Home on the Range science workshops provide hands-on, active learning for teachers to take back to the classroom and share with their students. Each participant will receive the complete Rangelands guide, which contains 27 student-centered lessons using hands-on, real world science investigations. Each lesson includes from 3-8 activities. The curriculum focuses on science and integrates social studies, while utilizing language arts and math skills. All core TEKS are documented with each lesson including the science, social studies, language arts, and math TEKS. Lessons use a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of all students and activate higher order thinking, and synthesis in creative products and presentations.
