Business Manager Cooperative
ESC-20 invites all LEAs and Charters to join the ESC-20 Business Manager Cooperative (BMC), to ensure success in a year of budget constraints with expert information and relevant resources. The ESC-20 BMC provides assistance to Business Managers and Chief Financial Officers on topics related to School Finance, Federal Program compliance, and Food and Nutrition services. The cooperative includes 6 Critical Issues Sessions, Touch Base Meetings, 4 days of Investment Officer Training, technical assistance (via virtual, phone or onsite) for all areas of school business and operations.
Key Highlights
- School Finance updates are shared through the Critical Issue Sessions and Touch Base Meetings. Topics include Financial Accountability, Audit, Summary of Finances, School/Charter FIRST, PEIMS, Federal Programs, and Food and Nutrition Services.
- ESC-20's partnership with MoakCasey, LLC provides the following benefits: membership to the Texas School Policy Network, updates on school finance and operations, and updates and modeling to support LEAs through the Legislative Session.
- AG|CM provides construction and facility planning information on the following topics: 10 Year Master Plans, Components of Long-Range Planning, Bond Planning, After the Bond Passes, Design Process, Construction Process, and Project Closeout.
- Members-only access to our BMC Google site where you can watch recordings and download resources for all meetings.
